Masque of the Small Town Oddball

Every small town has them, residents who live outside the norm.  Is it the lady with thirteen cats?  Maybe the grown man who lives in his mother’s attic?  Or is it just the family that lives on the corner, in that house where the grass is always a little too long?  There are hundreds of ways to be an oddball and every small town has a few.  We whisper about them, we make jokes, sometimes we even get a little insulting.

That’s all okay, because now their time has come.
